Over this weekend we'll be giving away FOUR completely free PC download games just to members of Playfire and Green Man Gaming.
What do you need to do? You only need to have a GMG account (and because you're a cool frood you already do), a Playfire account (where you'll be able to track your games!) and then to follow this very quick step to link those accounts!
The free game giveaway extravaganza begins at 1200 GMT Friday, with each free game being available to purchase for 24 hours, and yours to keep!
An isometric rampage through the deep, dark, dungeons of bureaucracy. Smash, shoot and burn your way through an infested world of office Zombies. Available from 1200 GMT Friday 8th for 24 hours, completely FREE!
Ninja Blade is set within modern day Tokyo, where parasites known as alpha-worms have mysteriously appeared. Sounds pretty gross but you should probably go save those people! You are a ninja after all. Ninja Blade is available from 1200 GMT Saturday 9th for 24 hours, FREE! (Please note that we're not able to sell this title in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Guernsey and Japan. Unfortunately this means that users from those regions will not be able to get this free game).
Unstoppable Gorg challenges you to defend the solar system from fearsome aliens by sending satellites into orbit. Unlike other tower defense games, in Unstoppable Gorg you can move your towers by rotating the orbits that surround planets, moons and space stations. You can pick up Unstoppable Gorg as he stops for a brief moment and becomes FREE for 24 hours from 1200 GMT Sunday 10th.
Milestone brings the emotion of the 4 wheels to a track-based racing game where the players will have the chance to prove their skill against 18 opponents determined to get to the top position. No room for mistakes. Dive into Superstars V8 Next Challenge as it goes FREE for 24 hours from 1200 GMT Monday 11th.
We'll also be ending the giveaway sequence with a competition for XBL or PSN points (winner's preference), so console gamers still stand to gain from entering!
My recommendation? Sign up for Playfire and link your accounts now before the crunch hits with the freebies!
If you need any assistance or get stuck somewhere, please direct all queries to the Green Man Gaming support team, by logging into your GMG account and clicking on Support.

So. Much. Free.

This is very kind of you, GMG ! And since Chinese New Year is within those dates, I can officially say this Chinese New Year couldn't get any better ! But could I know how does this actually works, is it free for anyone or like contests?
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work, GMG !
Thanks, Leon.
Sweet giveaways! Thanks GMG!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! Will there be steam keys for Gorg and Ninja Blade?
ReplyDeleteHey psydex, they're not available as Steam keys. They will use our Capsule client.
DeleteAaaannnd now I don't wanna continue to register :(
DeleteWow, you get offered free games, and this is how you react!? You are spoilt mate! Great work GmG!
DeleteIDK. While it appears with a Google search that Playfire has cleaned up its act in the last year, I'm not so sure I want these games as much as I value my comp's security or keeping my friends off their spam lists.
ReplyDeleteAre the games only playable during the 24 hours, or once we download/activate them, they're ours for life?
ReplyDeleteThey're yours for as long as you'd like :)
DeleteSame question here.
ReplyDeletePlayfire is taking a long time loading when I enter my Steam ID. It just spins saying "checking handle"

ReplyDeleteThink I'll skip, nice to offer 4 free games, but they aren't games I have ever considered playing and I don't need another account, especially with playfire.
ReplyDeletePlayfire won't discover my steam profile.
ReplyDeleteTried it 5 times in different ways now.
Will this effect me linking?
As soon as you have created an account you should be able to link. You do not necessarily need your Steam ID entered :) -James
DeleteYour super awesome GMG, I'm most looking forward to play Zombies and Unstoppable Gorg :). Thank you guys!
ReplyDelete10x GMG really like you offering the capsule version so after some time i have the option to trade in so i can buy new games from you :D
ReplyDeleteSide note: playfire is broken it won`t sync my steam account !
I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but I'm unable to claim the first game (Zombies).
ReplyDeleteis it +12:00 or -12:00 timezone?
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing that it starts at 1200 GMT (as in noon). In that case it should start in just about 4 hours from now (0400 PST / 0100 EST).
ReplyDeletebut, how do we get this? is this a giveaway? or just free for 1day?
DeleteNice try, but no. I'm not signing up to Playfire, as much as I would like free games.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteSo, and where is Ninja Blade, Unstoppable Gorg, Superstars V8 Next Challenge?
They will come on different days over the weekend. Available times are on the blog post :)
DeleteThank you!!! Ninja Blade is a wonderful game ^-^
ReplyDeletethx greenmangaming!!!
ReplyDeleteNo Steam Code? Not buyin'. The choice of games aren't worth the time. Creating a Playfire was one thing but having to get setup with Capsule too? No thanks.
ReplyDeleteAnother retarded weepy c*nt complains about free games that can be trade in unlike on steam...
DeleteSorry if we don't like the implications of Playfire and its lack of necessity. If we don't say something about it, GMG won't listen. No need to be abusive about it.
DeleteCan only laugh at your choice of names and adjectives I haven't heard since high school. As far as trade, regarding these games, you have go tot be kidding if you think that's a selling point.
DeletePeople's mad about Steam, when it just limits YOUR control about YOUR games...
ReplyDeleteand how is that? you can still play them offline and you can still mod them and everything you would expect...
DeleteThe majority already have Steam so whats wrong with wanting to keep all you games in one place? Many would also prefer not to load another client that will most likely be pushed aside and ignored in the future.
DeleteI tried your "client". Yawn. I could make that in a day!
ReplyDeleteThank you GMG for these games. :)
ReplyDeleteChecking handle... and nothing happens. Think I'll just pass this then. Thanks anyway.
ReplyDeleteNice one guys, thanks!!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! Thank you for this great offer, and for recognizing those of us who really enjoy stats!
ReplyDeleteMight I also suggest something similar for Raptr members in the future? Another fantastic stat-tracking website (My profile: http://raptr.com/Shidira/wall)
You don't even have to offer free games, although this gesture is great! Linking the accounts would be a peace of mind that any games purchased through here are definitely added to the Raptr tracker.
I received a message that there is something wrong with the data you entered. Please check them and try again!
ReplyDeletePlease help me.
All I can say is...no wonder GMG is my favourite online game-shopping service. You guyz rock!
ReplyDeletePlayfire says "checking handle" for a very long time after entering the Steam ID, it doesn't matter, it might "time out" during that but you are able to go further with the next step anyway. Thanks GmG.
ReplyDeletewow, thanks.. but it would be best if we play this on steam., but, ok.
ReplyDeletethanks GMG, and Playfire.
good promo mans
ReplyDeleteCant download Ninja Blade... theres no button for it...
ReplyDelete1. None of these games is particularly good. Something isn't necessarily worthwhile just because you don't pay for it. I'd rather play a great game for $10 than a mediocre one for $0.
ReplyDelete2. There's no such thing as free. Even if you don't hand over money, you pay one way or another. Time is money.

Deleteif someone hands you something for free, don't cry about how its not what you wanted...
Deleteno one is going to give you Far Cry 3 or anything like that for free so get over it, and yeah it took me what? 5 minutes to setup a playfire account and I already have a GMG account so what a waste of time that was.
Damn it, i missed ninja blade >:(
ReplyDeletei am from Argentina. Is there a chance for a payment metod like dineromail, provincia pagos, rapipago or pago fácil? ´cause i don´t have a credit card and the games are cheap. Pay by mobile would be great also.
ReplyDeleteDAMM, too late for Ninja Blade. I was away from home :P
ReplyDeleteHow will we go for those PSN codes? :)
ReplyDeleteNevermind I found them. Thanks GMG for the chance!
DeleteI linked my accounts, but how do I actually redeem the games?
ReplyDeleteHi GTAce, these offers all ended on 12th February.
