We can now announce that all GMG customers who pre-purchase XCOM: Enemy Unknown from Green Man Gaming will receive Civilization V as a bonus! This also applies to everyone who has already pre-purchased XCOM from us.
The bonus Civilization V keys will be sent out on the release date for XCOM: Enemy Unknown in your region, not before.
To anticipate the more likely questions:
Does this mean we also get Team Fortress 2 hats?
No. We can't guarantee that you will receive the TF2 bonus advertised elsewhere.
I already have Civilization V from GMG. Because we can't buy multiple games, will I still get my copy?
Yes! And you're able to give it to anyone you want.

ReplyDeletePlease let up use the discount code on it. I have to pay an international charge when I buy from you guys and after that it's close to the same price as Steam. If we can use a code I'll pre-order it right away!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately we're not able to allow use of vouchers on the North America edition for XCOM. But we do have something coming up just for North American users for it, I'm pretty sure ;) -James

DeletePlease make sure to atleast close orders on the game when u run out of keys this time. I'd hate to wait this long, find out news on a sweet preorder deal like I just read.. And then release day have to get a refund and buy elsewhere like I did with guild wars 2. Everything on the site is solid except this, you guys need a automatic system in place to change the items for sale to sold out once expectations are met or else u risk losing customer base.
